REP 17-366 1B.Traffic Safety Grant ILAInformational ReportCity of Vancouver Interlocal Agreement for Traffic Safety Grant Award Administration Details: The Washington State Traffic Safety Commission has awarded the City of Vancouver with a local traffic safety grant in the amount of $141,140.00 to be used by all participating Clark County law enforcement agencies. The City of Vancouver serves as the fiscal agent for the grant funds. The grant funds may be used to off-set overtime for police officers who are working on special emphasis patrols focused on removing intoxicated drivers from the roadways. The City of Camas is allocated for a portion of grant, but needs to have the associated interlocal agreement in place with the City of Vancouver. REP 17-371 1C.City of Camas 2018 Readoption BudgetInformational ReportCity of Camas 2018 Readoption Budget Details: As part of the biennial budget process, the Council readopts a budget approved in 2016 for 2018. Typically, a readoption includes unanticipated changes for Council's consideration such as the negotiated union contracts, benefit cost increases, or contract changes. Staff provided the adopted 2018 Budget with the recommended changes and a brief presentation to highlight those changes. The Council Workshop on October 16, 2017 will provide an opportunity for staff to provide an in-depth review of the 2018 Readoption Budget with detail provided on the City's Open Budget platform.
