Details: The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is planning to repave State Route (SR) 500 within the Camas city limits in 2018. With these changes, there is an opportunity to revise the roadway striping and travel lanes to better suit the traffic conditions. WSDOT and Camas staff have been working together to finalize a more efficient traffic plan for SR-500 on NE 3rd Avenue between Dallas Street and Garfield Street. This plan includes altering the traffic pattern at the intersection of NE 3rd and Dallas. The result will be the loss of 3 parallel parking spaces on the the north side of NE 3rd Avenue in front of the Dairy Queen.
