Details: Staff has been working on siting a new 544-Foot Pressure Zone Reservoir near Prune Hill Elementary just north of NW 18th Avenue. Staff has been working with a private property owner on purchasing a portion of their property for the project. The work to date has included survey, geotechnical drilling and a cultural survey. During this preliminary work, consultants identified potential environmental risks on the site. As a due diligence measure, staff has asked BergerABAM to prepare a proposal to conduct a Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessment. The assessment will help characterize the presence or potential presence of environmental hazards on the property. BergerABAM has submitted a scope of work in the amount of $27,163. The Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessment was not included in the existing scope of work with Gray and Osborne, Inc. for the reservoir design. There are sufficient 2016 Water/Sewer funds to complete this work.
