Title: Fireworks Public Hearing Details: The Council had requested that a Public Hearing be held to determine if the City should revise the Fireworks Code. The City currently allows fireworks to be discharged on July 3rd and 4th and December 31st. Options include keeping the code the same, limiting it to July 4th and December 31st, limiting it to "Safe and Sane" ground level fireworks, or a complete ban of all fireworks. After the Council heard public testimony and read written comments, Council will direct staff how to proceed at a future Council Workshop Meeting. Presenter: Pete Capell, City Administrator
