Title: Intergovernmental Agreement with Clark Public Utilities (CPU) Regarding Transfer of a Satellite Water System Details: CPU currently owns and operates a satellite water system serving the 12-lot Mountain Glen Subdivision located on the east side of NE 199th Avenue (Ingle Road) and immediately adjacent to, but outside the northerly Camas city limits. Staff has coordinated with the developer of the Green Mountain Planned Residential Development (PRD) and CPU regarding connection of the Mountain Glen water system to the City of Camas water system, decommissioning of the existing well and transfer of the satellite water system customers to the City of Camas. The attached Intergovernmental Agreement has been prepared to legally transfer the customers and the system obligations from CPU to the City. Staff reviewed the draft agreement with Council and provided additional background information relative to the proposed transfer at the January 16, 2018, and February 5, 2018, Council Workshops. ...

Details:  CPU currently owns and operates a satellite water system serving the 12-lot Mountain Glen Subdivision located on the east side of NE 199th Avenue (Ingle Road) and immediately adjacent to, but outside the northerly Camas city limits. Recommended Action:  Staff recommends that Council authorize the Mayor to sign the Intergovernmental Agreement with CPU.
